does anybody have the same type of parents as me?? the kind that even though theyr the ones buing you the systems and the games, they stil take away your ps3 because you play it too much??i can inda see where theyr comin from but come on! i offered to buy a PS3 for myself and they said ok but as soon as i had enough mony they bought one instead!

and also every time i want a game rated M for violence or language they never let me get it even though theyr the ones whogot me COD4 modern warfare which is super violent.

even regular videogames i cant buy and when i say that its my money thay say too bad were the parents and what we say goes!

what should i do?????

Deal with it till you turn 18. You're a kid and they're your parents, they have a point.

they are parents, they arnt supose to like you just sitting around practically doing nothing...maby if you did more things possibly around the house, imroved grades, or just go outside more often, they might not mind as much. and life is just about gaming, so its truely not that big of a deal...

I would always play my friends consoles next door or I would buy my own tv and console and my parents could never say anything. When YOU buy something wth your money, parents cant say anything. If you work, nobody can mess with you, especially if its full time

My parents always tried to take away the internet and my games too but it never worked cause i just played them anyway.

Just take the good with the bad and if they want you to cut down on games a bit we'll just do so and pick up something creative.

In the end once a parent knows you understand them and are willing to meet them halfway not only that but act mature about it don't whine and soon they will merely give you more and more freedom.

You know, despite your good advice, there are many out there who will still slack off. they'll just find something else to occupy them...... like this.

But sometimes you just have to deal with what the parents do.... No matter how contradictary they may be, you must obey there rules and stuff so your life doesn't suck.
