So with the most recent delay to Splinter Cell Conviction coming from the come-from-behind success of Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell Conviction has yet to see the light of day in terms of teasers, trailers, screenshots, or any type of footage. Going from Assassin's Creed to the now 2-weeks away Metal Gear Solid 4--Do you think Ubisoft will fold under the success of another stealth action game and again go into a hiatus to try and "evolve" even further?

Since the recent success of Assassin's Creed, our developers working on Splinter Cell: Conviction are re-working the entire game so that it'll evolve many elements that were successful in Assassin's Creed.

yes and atleast give mgs4 a little challenge

future looks brighter
Splinter Cell is simply a different kind of stealth game from MGS, always has been and you can see that they're trying to go a different direction with Convictions. Since they perfected the genre with Chaos Theory I think Ubi is simply trying to keep the franchise from going stale after the middling Double Agent.
