War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

wanna know what would happen if this was true? another company would just step in and fill that 3rd spot, such as apple or something

prices will sky rocket if they make a joint console..

sony tried to sell the ps3 for 600 dollars and xbox live is 50 dollars a year...so sony made psn free..

competition is good for us.. the consumers.. if they joined they would win.............. lets not be a fan of any unified game console.

trying to give gamers all the BASIC EXPECTED features that Microsoft has set the trend for.

yep, i dont know about you guys but I think it would be horrific if there was only one console, the same thing would happen to console's to what happened to microsoft and windows vista, once there's no competition you get lazy

no..nintendo needs to buss ass so sony and ms can lower prices. ... competition drives the industry forward and if you want better games you better become a fan of fierce ugly competition.

the vision isn't one console. it's Microsoft/Sony vs. Nintendo.
