What do you like best, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Cristal Chronicles or Final Fantasy Tactics

idk man i had such a good time with dragon quest 8 and its a traditional turn based jrpg. the charaters/story/ art direction really made me not mind it was turn based. on a side note the active battle system ff used from 7-9 really isn't any diff then turn based just gives you the illusion its not turn based with that bar. its still one turn per char per round unless u cast haste.

...i really like FF tactics & 7 & 10 & 12. But up till now I haven't tried the crystal chronicles.

Go play a real card based game. at least they aren't laden with fembags and hermaphrodites. For Christ sake, it's 2007, WE HAVE the tech mow to actually through in real time fighting..................Would you want to start you car with a crank?, or cut down redwood with an axe? This is why these games are only liked by a select few here is the states. It's basically a goofy "GIANT CUT-SCENE" with a bit of running, followed by another painfully long cut-scene, and then for the BIG BIG finale, . . . . a turn based fight? . . . LMAO..........talk about an ANTI-CLIMAX........................and you want to talk about the best fighting . . . uuhh, . okay

Back in 1997 when I got FF7, there was the ATB system. Then here came FFX where you could change party members in the middle of battle. I haven't played FF12 but I am considering getting the PS2 for one last run and that they have an offical licensed wireless controller for the PS2.

I tried Xenosaga for the PS2 and realized that I'm not a kid anymore who could spend hours and hours playing games.

FFV7CC for the PSP will not have the same battle system as FF7.

It seems like Square Enix is trying to make the RPGs more real time and I like that. I'm sure SE won't completely abandon the turn based systems but bring them out once in awhile perhaps with the Dragon Quest series. DQ is old school while FF is new school made by the same company.
