  • getting a PS3 today.. looking for some opinions

I'll be starting with heavenly sword.. but what other games do you guys feel are good for picking up in the near future. I've looked at the game lists and several stand out.

Well in my opinion, the best games i own are CoD4 and oblivion. Warhawk is alright, but everyone that plays it is to good at it, hence i suck at it. Madden is fun but a crappy online experience this year. Uncharted no clue i just played the demo, and it made me not want to get the game, and ill be renting assassins creed soon. and dont get lair it stinks.

I am not sure, I dont have a ps3 but tell us if you do get a game, I want to see what it is.

I would suggest Warhawk even though it's online only, but it's a great game. Very fun even if you're not into playing online games like me. Also Assassins Creed is very good as well. Though once you get the Ps3 check out some of the demo's for Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune those should give you a good idea of how those games are.

UT3, COD4, Warhawk, Eye of Judgement, Motorstorm, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted. You can't go wrong with either of these games.

I say COD4 should be your first game and at best buy its 44.99 on sale. Then go with Ratchet and Clank Future: TOD.

well make sure you have broadband.. because there is alot of stuff that you can get off from psn.. you have internet browser, playstation stores get some friends.. and talk with them and stuff..

but i recommend Uncharted, Call of Duty 4, and Unreal 3.. next
