my opioin is that we will see a rise ion sales and hype, but i think it will still be in last place. Or i may be wrong and the 360 will die down. whats your opinion?

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. Sony has too many delays in the States to really make any kind of change. I think the PS3 will pretty much trail the 360 in the States and win everywhere else. Too many gamers are happy with the 360 to warrant buying two high powered consoles. I think the Wii will finally start to fade as all the old people homes will have enough of them by then. lol

It will be an interesting year nontheless.

ya but most of the delays were when the ps3 first came out, as you can see delays are definetly declining

In the U.S. they will probably start selling at the same rate as the 360 once MGS4 hits. I don't know if they will ever catch up in U.S. sales overall though. I am just interested to see how they start selling in Japan once some of the Japanese RPGs get released. There still hasn't been one JRPG released yet but they will start coming out next year finally.

I think next year is going to be a great year for the PS3. I doubt it will fly by the wii and 360 in sales, but it will probably shorten the gap by quite a bit!

i wouldant be surpised if ms kept states this whole console cycle they know what ther target audience wants and have done a hell of a job of capitalizing on that knowlegde. 08 will be a defineing year for sony ,but im gonna be honest here i love the mgs series but im looking forward to littlebigplanet more. no matter how good mgs4 might be its still gonna just be a stealth gun game. littlebigplanet is somthing totaly new that adds new online choices to us the gamers

I'm forecasting 2008 to be a good year for Sony. Games from some of the most influential franchises are coming out as well as games from other developers that people want to play (LBP, White Knight Story, etc.) If the release dates for 2008 hold, there is no reason why the PS2,PS3,and PSP can't do well. As far as SSBB goes, is that one game going to push sales year round?
