That was actually a common question people asked about the PS2 though. They didn't seem to understand the hardware, and would ask "I know the PS2 can play PS1 games, so does that meant the PS1 can play PS2 games?" I actually remember seeing questions like that popping up in magazines and in forums.

The 360 doesn't read HD-DVD. Why do you think you have to buy a standalone HD-DVD player for your 360?
