in fact, audio and graphics does improve to some extent. but look at games now... there are already a few games are taking advantage of BD technology for ps3 and its not even a year old. look at lost odyssey for 360, its using 4 discs. MGS4 is rumored to use a dual-layor BD so it could use over 25 gigs. lair uses more than 9 gigs of storage cuz of huge areas and great detail with a lot of awesome sound and music. lair has been nominated for soundtrack even, and it deserves the title cuz the music is awesome. rockstar is having a hard time trying to get the game fit on dvd for 360 without needing to use HDD...bethesda had to do a lot of shortcuts and cut around corners and use the same shit for everything cuz they are limited to how much space they had to use. when ps3 version came out, they polished the corners a bit and everything cuz they feel more flexible to what they are doing
