I noticed this yesterday and I thought it was really odd. Has anyone else noticed that while a ton of people hated on the PS3 for its price as a console not many people speak up about a 600.00 phone. I know it can do a lot of stuff but then again so can PS3. I would prefer a PS3 for 600.00 over spending all that on a phone but some people just dont seem to care. Dont get me wrong I dont own a PS3 atm because of its price and I want a price drop or 2 before I do but I just dont see why more people arent just as mad about the iphone price.

well a phone is a phone and a really expensive toy is a really expensive toy............while the iphone can be considerd a toy.........its still a phone.........and a phone is essential to making money in time of age.....and you need money to make money........to spend money to make more money.....LOL i dont know what im saying anymore LOL

600 is to much for the PS3 and 600 is WAAAAAAAAY to much for a freaking phone. I would never in my entire life buy a phone for $600! Unless I win the lotto...Then I might consider the iphone...

youre absolutely right. i was going to gamestop yesterday and there's a cingular store next door. dude, there was a friggin' huge line waiting to get into cingular to buy the new iphone. i cant believe that crap, for a phone. please. what a waste of money. bluray player, game player, wifi, hdd.......its a good deal i dont regret it one bit

THough I do think it is a bit high, this kind of high end phone is usually subsidized by a person's business. Blackberries have always been high and are targeted at the high powered executive type. You are also paying for functionality and portability too.

Where the PS3 has a lower cost to fun index for me, the iphone would have a high cost to functionality and cost to cool index. I don't think the ps3 even has the cook factor yet because the games arent there yet.

The iphone is amazingly integrated supposedly. I'm going to go to the apple store and see if I can use a demo unit today.

exactly....thats what i was trying to say LOL.......... the ps3 is a toy.....and thats it.........the iphone is for business..and can be a toy...but mainly for business!

The iphone is a sham. For 600 you get 8 gig, what the hell can I do with that? It dosnt look that strudry. Plus att sucks as a service. Its probly slow as shit to go on the internet ( if it even works). Its not worth 600 at all. I rather buy a Black Berry. I think the PS3 is a good deal. Sony loses money off of the system , wich means we are pay less than the price its worth. Now thats just what I think , so dont flame me to much.
