I was playing San Andreas the other day (I know what your thinking already, it was a bug because San Andreas has lots of them. But no, read on..) and the car CJ was driving was equiped with Nos so I hit the Nos and the car went full speed + down the road. A building was coming up and I pressed the brake but the car wouldn't stop. It continued going at full speed, I made sure I wasn't pressing any other buttons and the car hit the building, the screen went black and the car was floating in the air with nothing around it. Another time I was playing Resistance and my character was hiding behind some boxes and was ontop of a platform, above normal ground level. There were a buch of aliens on the other side of the boxes, so he jumped out and began shooting, with my command. I pushed the analog stick forward and he ran towards them while firing. I then let go of the analog stick but he continued running. The aliens eventually killed him, but he kept running and I again let go of all the buttons but this continued. He was supposed to fall off the platform but floating in the air and ran threw a bunch of buildings. Again something weird happened but this time I was playing NBA Street Homecourt. I was playing a pick up game which consists of 3 players on each team and first to 21 points wins. I had first possession of the ball and when I shot the other player blocked the ball and took hold of it, which is normal. Then he runs up to about half court and shoots the ball. The ball cannot be seen anywhere but then appears in the air and is put into his own basket and the score is now 1-0. Then on the screen the word WIN appears which obviously indicates that I won the game even though the winner should have had 21 points. This has occured a few times for each game.

It could be bugs or glitches in the game but for 3 games. Pretty weird, huh? I was thinking of selling my PS3 and getting a DS Lite and the new Pokemon game. Yeah, still a Pokemon fan. You think I should sell my PS3, get it replaced (got 2 year warranty, place I bought it from said they would replace it anytime if anything happens to it) or keep it?

first off i wouldn't recomenend playing PS2 games on the ps3. Second there are really no bugs on the ps3 when your NOT playing online, if online then maybe. Third your ps3 sounds like its messed up, bring it back to where ever you bought it or call Sony up and explain what happens and take it from there.

Yeah my PS3 is probably messed up. Oh and I'm always hearing a buzzing type noise when I increase the volume and thin lines moving through the screen. I tried it out my friends house and it was the same at there house as well. I even tried putting the wire in a lone outlet and it still didn't work. I straightened out the wires so there was no tangling and the problem didn't go away. I even bought a new sound system and a HDTV with the PS3 so there is most likely nothing wrong the the equipment.

why shouldn't he use ps2 games on the ps3 isn't that one of the things sony has touted backwards compability? The rest makes sense to me

Yea, ur shit is messed up, Dont sell it though cause the ps3 going to get better and then u going to wish u didnt, DO what bude said, call sony, if u got ur recipt take it back and get another on, dont play ps2 games on them. I dont trust it either.

Maybe your controller is messed up. See if you can try another controller. If all else fails call Sony CS and see what they say.

Just give me a 47" HDTV, all 3 systems and a year supply of pizza and beer I'll be the happiest person on earth.
yeah true too, cause they say when you play a game your supposed to keep the controller close and not play far away or else its going to freeze or turn black cause the controller can't read the PS3. And the reason why I say don't play PS2 games on it is because you don't a chance of messing the system up i mean you payed a lot of doe for it and I will be pissed off if my system got messed up. If you have a ps2, stick to the regular ps2 games on that nd ps3 use it for ps3, blu ray, computer, or whatever else you use it for. Thats just my opinion.

I believe in karma. That means I can do bad things to people all day long and I assume they deserve it...i LOVE this place!

Well, you bought the extended warranty, which covers your console for two years. I'd exchange it out for a new one.
