I was ready to flame you until I read what you said. You are absolutly correct though. Thing is that with the head start that MS has and the high price for PS3 it isnt going to be owning either way. I bet they will sell pretty evenly especially in the US and Europe. Forget about Japan they just will never buy an emerican made console even if it was 2000 times better.
As far as the ignorance goes, you hit the nail right on the head. Reading what most of them say just astounds me with how ignorant they are!

The fact is that the PS3, while having a couple of good exclusive titles, has almost no reason for the $600 price tag. With the $400 360 already out with at least a dozen triple-A titles that no one should miss, and the Wii coming at around $250 with the most innovative controller I've seen since the nes, it just doesn't seem sane from an unbiased perspective. Admit it, the only reason people are going to buy the PS3 is for the Sony name. It's like the only idoits that still support Bush are because they blindly vote Republican.

What library? A console should never cost $600. I don't care if it has a $1000 drive in it, the 360 is $200 less and has the same graphics. Like I said, the only people buying PS3's at launch are fanboys. How am I a fanboy? You're the one with a PS2 for your picture.
