who thinks the Wii has too many controllers?

i do for one thing. it's a creative system, with some good exclusives, the motionsensing is fun but gets old. probably the main reason i won't get a wii is cuz of the number of different controllers, if you have friends over, your going to need more than 2 of each. im going to try and list each controller on the wii, help me add more with their prices. 1. Wii remote $40 2. Numchuck $30???? 3. Zapper $??? 4. Wii classic controller (the ovalish shaped one) $????? 5. Gamecube controller (if it counts) $20 6. steering wheel attachment $?????

cant think of more, but i know there are more. 6 controllers is already way too many.

The Numchuck is only $20 the Wii Zapper is $20. I think its great to have all these controller options. Look how many controllers they had when the NES and Genesis came out.

it is the way the wii is, it makes it more fun to have a lot of controllers to use

Oh hell yeah, the NES had a bunch of extra crap for it, R.O.B, the Max, the Advantage, the PowerGlove, the PowerPad, the Zapper, and that's only the first party stuff (and all I can recall at the moment).

The only controllers necessary are the wii-mote and the nunchuck attachment. The zapper is just an accessory as is the steering wheel. And who the hell still plays gamecube games anyways? (that system sucked btw)

So thats only 2 controllers or about $50 if I recall. How much are x360 or ps3 controllers? i'm sure its pretty close.

You don't need most of those controllers. Plus you should have a gamecube controller already.

Ya at the most you only need a Wii mote, Numchuck, Maybe an old school, And everyone that owns a Wii most likly has 4 GC controllers

On the topic if i get a classic controller can I play the GC games with it?

All you need is a Nunchuk and Wiimote, and both come with the console. Maybe a GameCube or Classic Controller, but they aren't needed, and a lot of people already have GC controllers. You don't need a CC if you have a GC one, and vice versa.

The Zapper and Wheel are just attachments, you can play any game without them and it's the same.
