Okay,50 percent of the people i've seen in my life and the internet say "Yes!! Sonic shall be in Brawl!! " And the other half of whatever says "Hellz NO!!!!"

This is gonna be long,so get out if you hate long posts. The Sonic and Mario era started with the Super Nintendo and Genesis. First it the Atari(it's legacy will live on :O) came. IT kinda sucked by of course,it's legacy will live on.So NES came in and kicked a**. Soon the SEGA Master System came. Quite shortly,the Master System shifted to the Genesis. So a while later, the Super Nintendo came. So that's exactly where the Sonic vs. Mario war began. It's very popular. Just search up Sonic vs. Mario on google. So that's why people want him. They think he would be a good fighter. And especially figthing Mario. That would be the dreammatch. But then apprantly, people have been saying that Sonic would have a bad moveset. Now here's where you're wrong: what did Captain Falcon do? He sat in a car and drove. What did Fox do? Sit in the plane and have some dogfights. His blaster was the only move Fox had and made sense,because Star Fox 64 had unlockable on-foot vs mode,but the rest of his moves were made up. What did Peach do? All she did was wait for Mario to friggin' rescue her! So you get my point. If Sonic didn't have enough moves,they could make moves. And plus, they can transfer his A moves from Sonic Battle for GBA. -_- And here's a clue to raise the Sonic fanboys' hopes up: as you might have heard, a new game is in the works being made by Nintendo and Sega called Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. here's something intresting: Shigeru Miyamoto is supervising the project. So it's like, He's right there in front of SEGA. He could ask them any day. And about the retail ads from Best Buy and a game store having Sonic in Brawl...FALSE. obviously,those are different render arts. If SOnic was in Brawl,he would have a different render art. And plus, one of the ads was a cover,showing Sonic from SOnic and the Secret Rings. Like I said,render art has to be exclusive to the game. ANother thing to back my blabbering is Samus's render is from Metroid Prime 3. That render was on both ads. SPeaking of Samus,there was already a Samus Brawl render right when the first trailer came out.O_o

Okay,I'm not saying he's not gonna be in it,and I'm not saying he's guarnteed to be in it. I don't really care. I think it would be cool if he did,but he's not in it,I can live without him.

Sonic would not fit Brawl at all. Sonic games have a totally different feel than Nintendo fare, like Smash Bros. Maybe it's not apprent to some, but to those who know what I mean, I bet you understand. Also, Sonic VS Mario was settled when Sonic games started to suck and Mario games exceleed further; they didn't even need to fight. The two can compete At The Olympic Games; let's just hope Nintendo is smart enough to keep him out of Brawl.

Fans would go wild if Sonic was put in Brawl, I have no doubt about that. However, I can also imagine people being unhappy about it. I am one of those people.

To hell with Sonic. There are better candidates out there.

I have the strangest feeling that was directed at my sig. It fits just perfectly on my screen, but if it bothers anyone else, I'll downsize it.

But I agree completely with you. An example of a better candidate would be Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia. Yes, I've said that many times, but he would fit perfectly. He basically fights on a 2D plane in Symphonia, and the battle systems of the two games are very similar. Plus, with Ratatoskr on Wii, there couldn't be a better time.

Ever since EGM spread rumors of unlocking Sonic and Tails in Melee, everybody wants Sonic to be in it and I find it extremely annoying. He would only bring the "bad videogame" curse that he has been plagued with for years
