I was playing one of my favorite games the other night, and i couldn't help but listen to the soundtrack. I even took the time to pause and just let the music keep on playing. And i came to an even more realization of how much the games OST(orginal soundtrack) can be so influencial in the gaming experience. So, out of my awakening, i would like to take the time and ask all you gamers: What Nintendo Game has/had the best Oringinal Soundtrack?

Dark Hybrid(rpg)? is that what it was called? i forgot it was for the N64, but i remember the OST was an honorable mention...didnt really get that much hype but it did get some good reviews....i think ha

Does Final Fantasy III count? If so, I'd vote for that. If not, then DK Country would be my fav. I actually remember hooking my SNES to my boombox and recording the bgm on tape. LOL

I have actually been enjoying the soundtrack to Chronotrigger for the snes lately.

Final Fantasy III has to count. Next to Mega Man 2, it has to be one of the most memorable OST out there. I say Mega Man 2, because that opening rift on the tittle screen. I don't know it was just so hard core. But FF3 definatly the best.
