Solid Snake and Pit. Well Pit from Kid Icarus isn't too surprising. But Solid Snake as a playable character. That is super sweet.

i like meta-knight and pit. but Solid Snake? oh and where is wario, waluigi, and meta-ridley!?!? they better announce them later on in the show. but either way, this game is gonna kickass!!!

I'm not surprised to see Metaknight in there. After getting a sample taste of how he played in Nightmare in Dreamland, I had a gut feeling that he was going to be in it. I am surprised to see Solid Snake in there. Who knows, perhaps there is now a possibility of third party characters being added into it.

I'm 100% surprised. Solid Snake in Smash Bros.? I mean, I could see Sonic and Tails in the game easily. Snake just doesn't sound like he'd fit in. Very weird.

Even more awesome news. For those of us who want to be traditional...we get to also use the Gamecube controller for the game. Sure I will see how the Wii controller will work, but I have been worried and this is good that there is a backup solution.

Wow, out of all the characters to choose from and Solid Snake has to be the wierdest one. You think he would be in a Sony All Star Duel fighting game or something. But a character who more geared towards Sony in a fighting game with Nintendo characters seems wierd.
