One of my friends wanted to try to sell his Xbox to get store credit to get a 360. They would give him $20 in credit for it. Wow (heavy on sarcasm)...these guys really are generous with their credit. Selling almost everything he had, he probably wouldn't come up with the price of a common next-gen game. Well, screw you, dear GameStop. These guys are cheaper than believability would allow. I saw, shortly after Heavenly Sword's release, a man come in and ask "How much would I get for an unopened copy of Heavenly Sword?" Thirty bucks. It lost half its value because it was out for a few weeks. And yet you can justify selling Xbox 360s that have been out for years at full price? I'd be better off selling my games on Craigslist.

Craigs list or ebay is the way to go. I piss on game stores. They rip you off. half the time you get less then 50% of what they sell it for in store credit. Totally huge rip off artists.

I don't sell my games though.

Yeah, they make their money that way. Sell it on Amazon or Ebay. Craigs List can be faster but sometimes you can get more on Amazon.

That's why you don't go to chains. Their entire purpose is to make a profit on it when they sell it to somebody else.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS go to a site with auctions. Chances are good that your buyer is going to actually keep the system to play (and not try to turn it around for profit).

most retailers are complete ripoffs when selling back items never take anything to gamestop they will ALWAYS give a crappy deal

Whenever I go with my friend to sell games we always go to the Video Game Connection, He gives us what the game is close to be fair market value.

Its a mom and pop store I would rather see my money go to them then eb games or gamestop.

that jusst like my psp I was able to get 140 on ebay while game stop wanted it for 40 which makes sence why they call it game stop cause the game stops there and never starts there

I think an used X-Box would be like 60 to 80 dollars. 20 bucks isn't much of a surprise in that situation.
