  • Someone give me a good reason to get a 360 rather than a PS3....

I'm going to buy a system in July and im weighing my options on whether to get a 360 or PS3. I'm leaning towards a 360 but I want some advice from people who own one to convince me that a 360 is the way to go. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks!!

xbox 360 has a great lineup of games while ps3 has free online play and umm well blueray

No one can make this decision for you. You have to make it for yourself. If you want Granturismo, Metal Gear, Resistance then you get a ps3. If you want Forza, Gears of War, Mass Effect then you get a 360.

get the PS3. trust me i have one and i love it. good hardware so dont have to worry about it crashing or anything. great linup of games coming out this year. think about yeah the 360 is good but the only reason more ppl buy games for it is because of the achievements. now that home is coming to the PS3 instead of achievements u get trophies to actually show off. and also think of some of the good games coming out for the PS3. haze, mgs4,resistance 2,gran turismo 5, little big planet, killzone 2(dont know about it though), tekken 6, god of war 3(still to be anounced) . and yeah. and also think about the ps3 is free. i mean all the money u could be spent paying on xbox live can be spent on games since PSN is free. then yeah theres blu-ray which is really stunning which the 360 doesnt have. and since the hd-dvd player is useless it . it would be way better. and if u have a psp that evens adds on to it. and since u can buy games from the playstation store, u could even download them onto the psp using the ps3.

Online play is online play. They both are the same. The features of xboxlive and the ease of use is whats better than psn.

You really need to make your sig smaller

So in your words the only reason people buy 360 and their games is because of meaningless achievement points. I guess they will buy the ps3 games for the trophies as well.
