I bought an xbox 360 about 6 months ago. The first two games i bought for the system, battlefield 2, and crackdown, work perfectly, but then i bought mdden 08 and the graphics were very glitchy and not the normal gameplay. thinking that this problem would only occur with madden i got halo 3, again the graphics are terrible. what could be wrong with my xbox to make the first two games work fine and the next to not work at all?

First of all Madden 08 is plagued with glitches on 360 and PS3. It just plain blows.

Halo 3, I don't know what is wrong with yours, I think it's an amazing looking game. Maybe not like Gears of War, but the detail jump from Halo 2 is amazing. I think you might have to play zanzibarr on Halo 2 and then compare that map with the Halo 3 version. The detail is sick.

I have... but only when I run it on the SDTV in my roommate's room. When I hook it up into the HDTV in the living room it somehow manages to fix it all. Pretty impressive.

You are probably using the HD cables on the SDTV. Use the normal ones.

I sure hope that's not it, or I'd win noob of the year award. Lol. I don't think so, though I might have gotten them mixed around somehow. But it's just the occasional problem, like a jagged edge or substandard texture. Nothing huge.

It's your TV. Is your TV running @ 480i? If it's not a HDTV then the graphics are not going to look very good. If you think Madden 08 looks bad on the 360 look at the PS3 version it is very bad.

Also my Madden 08 looks very good I'm on a HDTV that will go to 720p.
