Maybe, but I don't think it will be called Halo anymore since they are all destroyed. Prequel to Halo? I'm not sure if that many people would jump to play as any of the other characters. Let's face it, everyone hated that Halo 2 made you play as Arbiter for almost 60% of the game. They just want to be the Chief Baby!

For starters, Bungie isn't developing Halo Wars. Bungie is already hard at work on another Halo project. From what I've been hearing, it sounds like the next Halo may either be a prequel (like some of the novels) or a tie-in to whatever Jackson may be doing (the film or a big-budget game). Bungie has more creative control now as a second-party developer. As a development team, I am sure they would love to try new projects, but Halo is too much of a financial juggernaut to simply walk away from. There will always be Halo, like there will always be Mario, Link, and Samus.

Bungie left it wide open to create another halo besides wars. I think they could make another halo just fine if they wanted to. Whether they will or not is what i'm curious about. Also, what is your opinion on wars, I for one don't like RTS's, but halo wars I still would think would be good because of all the weapons and vehicles halo has. Anyway, this is just to see how many people think halo is going to live on or if Bungie is going to start fresh with a new genre.
My guess is there will be another game featuring Master Chief, but it doesn't have to be called Halo. Leaving him out there like brings no closure to him.

I said the Halo Series. Halo1-3 are done. Halo Wars is the next one. But as far as bungie creating anymore "Halo" games no. They might, like someone stated carry over some of the characters but other then that don't have high hopes for much else.
