If it does happen it's just the ebb and flow of the industry. Square left Nintendo.. went to Sony and now they're making GC games... I just don't think you can be mad at anyone involved IF this actually happens. I mean you can't fault MS for going after Rare. If MS threw a ton of money at Rare you can't fault them for leaving.. especially if the relationship w/ N wasn't goin too well...

Do you think microsoft will give Rare half the time Nintendo gave to Rare on the developement of their games? It seemed like with every Rare release came a two year delay.

And for the record, Rare owns the rights to Perfect Dark...NOT Nintendo (based off of an IGN/Reuters/LA Times/Raretopia article).

It's official (well, according to Cube IGN). The deal is water under the bridge now, but license negotiations are still under way, according to numerous websites--including the LA Times and IGN.com.

Hopefully, this will keep all other Rare threads occupied in this one area...I should have done this a long time ago (but with a different title, of course).

I hope rare makes more nintendo games, because they made a lot of good characters for it. on the other hand they can make new ones.
