i think it would work, The mayor of gotham would secretly hire Deadshot to take out Batman while the Riddler tries to work his way to the top of the criminal underworld. He could recruit Scarecrow as a henchman. In the end, it would turn out that Deadshot worked for the Riddler (like how Hush did in the comics).

No they didn't. In fact, Christopher Nolan has said that he would NEVER use Penguin becuase he doesn't think he would work in his version of Gotham City. I happen to disagree. I think if they use Penguins current incarnation in the comics as a source of info for batman and a gun runner, it could work. They wouldn't need to call him Penguin, they could just refer to him as Oswald Cobblepot. But either way. Those are the facts. Nolan said 'no' to Penguin numerous times.

I wouldn't mind seeing Bane in the next one doing the Knightfall story arc but Nolan would have to introduce a lot of characters to stay true o the comics.

Man Who's going to play the Joker? Maybe Vince Vaughn? I didn't think Heath Ledger was going to be a good joker but he did a better job than Jack.

With the amount of attention Ledger got, not just for his untimely death, but for the amazing performance itself, I highly doubt they would recast the role. My guess is that they won't have the joker in the next film at all. Probably mention him or possibly show him in shadows in Arkham or something, but my guess is they won't recast.
