Anyone catch the 6 hour live ghost hunters? what did you think?

This user is completely without Sig... Sigless. Not at all Siggy wit' it. This is an ex-Sig.

Of all the shows on TV about Ghosts and trying to find evidence for them Ghost Hunters is the only one I can stand to watch. The other ones are goofy, often relying on alleged psychics and other unprovable things like that. The ones on Travel channel are especially ridiculous. The guys on Ghost Hunters are the only ones who use any logic and if they can't find any evidence for a place being haunted they aren't afraid to say so.

But no, I didn't see the 6 hour live special. :(

i found it rather boring... i guess cuz i don't believe in it.

Well, to me a live show of a haunting investigation is a bad idea anyway. If you find nothing you end up wasting the viewer's time for 6 hours. And even if you do find something it would be better to edit out all the time that nothing was happening, which is likely to be the majority of the time.

Oh, one other ghost show on TV that isn't too bad is one on Discovery channel simply called Haunting or Haunted or something like that. But it isn't a show about investigation but rather a docudrama which reenacts the claimed particulars of old cases and strings it all together nearly like a movie, but with narration.

But all the other ones I know of flat-out suck. Especially the ones on Travel channel. Man, stay away from that crap.

Haha, I agree 100%. A Haunting and Ghost Hunters are the only paranormal based shows I can stand.

Anyway, it aired from 9 to 3 in the morning for me. I didn't care to watch it, as most things the team captures are found in the analysis, not during the investigation.

That's exactly the point i was trying to get across to my girl last night... but we HAD to watch the damn thing...

Yeah, on Ghost Hunters 90% of the time what do they find they didn't notice when they were investigating, they find it in the analysis. And all the shadows they see and get excited about while investigating ( That's bound to happen when you have all the lights out and you think a place might be haunted. ) usually turn out to be nothing in the analysis. So really, a live show isn't a good idea.
