I know Avatar: The Last Airbender is a show directed to a sort of younger audience, but I love it, and it gets a huge fanbase consisting of people of all ages. The character development is it's strong point, and I love watching the fight scenes. My favorite character would have to be Iroh, because he has all the wisdom and even though he seems to be making the wrong decision, it always lead to a good outcome. He led Zuko right to Aang when he was trying to capture him, by making Zuko think they needed to find his missing game piece, which led Zuko in the right direction when he was going the wrong way. Also, his son's death has made him strong, and that father-son relationship he has with Zuko is a very good thing for the story, despite Zuko recently betraying him. I literally cried when he mourned his son on the hilltop above Ba Sing Se. I'm serious, that was sad as hell.
