What are some of your favorite sidequest or side game of any game, of any genre. If you didn't like a sidequest or side game, whatever, put it down here.

One of my favorite sidequests of all time would have to be the triple triad card game from FFVIII, that in itself could have been a game. Let's not forget the shooting gallery from RE4. my personal best score was 5400.

I can't think of any horrible ones right off hand, but I know there are some pretty bad ones out there. One off the top of my head would be, because it was long and tedious, was the nintendo gallery from zelda: windwaker.

You're fat and its your fault!!! | So the other day I was playing Yoville on facebook and SHO was a neighbour of mine...so I go and visit him at his apartment and we start kissing and then I take him to the bedroom I hop into his bed and he starts freaking out...it was fucking hilarious...LUV U SHO!!!
How about the old Mario games with Toad (like the spinning pieces of faces that you had to match up) :)

Which game was that for, I forget.

The FFVIII cardgame was really fun. I remember collecting all those cards and getting really pissed when I found out that I had missed only one of them and I could not get it anymore.

I remember that Saints Row had a couple of very good and some boring sidequests.

I gotta kick out of Blitzball in FFX, and for some reason, I loved the hell out of fishing on Okami...It was the simplest fishing engine I've ever played (the fish goes one way, pull the stick the other way, but don't pull too hard, etc. etc.) I could fish all day on that damn game trying to catch every last species I could and in the end I still missed one or two...

The Battle-Bugs or what ever it was called in Rogue Galaxy was...OK...I had more fun trying to capture the different kinds of insects than I did actually fighting with them, but in the end it was a bit too close to pokemon for my liking anyway.

Yeah, Saints Row's "Insurance Fraud" side-missions were hilarious.

As for more retro side-quests, I enjoyed the crane game in Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, as well as chocobo racing/breeding in FFVII.

I can't wait 'til I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff.
Mine are those little minigames from Xenogears. There was a card game on it where you ran to get the next matching up or down from the ones played. If you won you got an awesome accessory. Another would be Chocobo Hot and Cold on FF IX.

Right now I'm playing through FFVII again, and trying to get 100% treasure. I need to get 5000 points on the rollercoaster in the Gold Saucer to get an item, but it's hard as hell since you need to hit almost every target. I just don't have the patience to memorize where all the targets are.

Definitely the Kafei/Anju sidequest in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Never before have I done a sidequest so meaningful yet tragic at the same time. The defending of the milk cart from bandits sidequest was great too.

The worst minigames would be the card memorizing game from SUper Mario 3. Its one thing to memorize them its another to have to memoize them and try to remember them when you randomly find it again. As for lamest side quest? Theres a long list for that.

1. Parasite Eve- Space is limited, and the outcome is great when it works, but when you have to find a lot of Junk to make the best weapon, it takes to long, too much space, and in few areas that do have it is annoying. 2. Anything that requires the not introduced in the U.S. Pocketstation. 3.Mario Party, I mean it.
