  • What is your first videogame memory?

Post a Reply

Come on, let's take a little trip down memory lane. Do you remember the Galaga's and Pong's, or is it the Halo's and Metal Gear Solid's for you?

Personally, I remember going to my cousin's house and picking up an Atari controller. A few blips from Pong and I was hooked :)

My first gaming memory is actually one of my favorite memories from childhod. Back when the first Zelda came out me and my brother were always getting lost in the dungeons, so my mom would watch us play for hours, and draw out maps for all the places we went to. And I mean they were DETAILED. If it wasnt for her we would have never beaten that game.

One of the earliest, but probably not the first, is me playing bowling on the 2600. Couldn't afford the SNES at the time.

My grandmother was always taking me bowling and I played Pac Man in the arcade. As for home console, my parents had the Odyssee 2 and we played UFO(like geometry wars), K.C. Munchkin(like Pac Man), Pocket Billiards, and Thunderball (Pinball game). It also came with two racing games and a word game called cryptologic. You spell a word and mix it up and the other person has to figure it out. Kind of cool back then. 1982-1985 era or so. We also had a PC that ran Dos games and Word Perfect.
