One of the gamepros talked about this in their blog three or four weeks ago. Maybe you can find it.

There's 6 episodes of the GamePro TV program posted on You-Tube, and that's all I've been able to find so far!! It would be very awesome if they made an updated version of that program, and try and bring back J.D. Roth as the host like he was back in the early 90s, that would totally be very awesome!!

I have a JD roth poster. It came with "Fun house" The board game. Pretty sick. I wonder if anyone would buy it on ebay for a million dollars.

wow. the show is pretty cool with the gaming info and stuff. but the presentation is horrible. the surfer dude with the brown hair is annoying. i wonder if that guy did the voice for that turtle in Finding Nemo?

Ahh yes, Gamepro TV. Hooray for low - budget television. : P

And the hosts remind me of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Essentially, the Bill & Ted theme was prevelant at the time. Unfortunately, looking back on the episodes now, a lot of the dialogue was forced and it was more acting than informational.

The show did try to stay within the confines of GP at the time... if you scan back issues of GP and match them up with when the episodes aired, it was about as close to GP on TV as we would get at the time.

Unfortunately, there aren't any specialty shows anymore that cover all facets like GPTV did. G4's X-Play covers reviews, and G4's Attack of the Show sometimes broaches gaming discussions... but GPTV was really one-stop, and in only 23 minutes.

I still think that there's a market for a show like this on weekday afternoon television, picked up by syndication.

I like when G4 was doing those ICON episodes. I haven't had cable in a while do they still do those?
