Even though most of the fre MMORPG's can't compete with MMORPG's like WOW I'd say guild wars is the best free MMORPG

I heard that Silk Road is pretty good, but I really don't care for MMORPGs.

And don't you still have to pay $39.99 to purchase GuildWars?

yeah... you still have to pay for the initial software for guild wars.... but otherwise its free. I tried silkroad for a while.... if a while is 10 minutes. I didn't like it. I'm surprised i haven't heard any non-member runsecape fans yet.

if ur a noob and like simplistic games try runescape i played that for a year ( u could even have my sn -outlawstar49 pass. pikmin) but if ur willing to play for good quality and fun buy guild wars its worth it.
