Does any one know if Halo 2 is for vista only or does it work on XP too?

Everyone is saying that Vista is a joke!!! Does the halo game go down with it?

I think it's only Vista...I could be wrong though...But Vista is not crap, i've got it. it's just that there are a few compatibility issues with some games and programs. Xfire has a bug where u can't type in-game or open IE while logged on...but other than that, I love Vista. BF2 and FEAR Combat dont' conflict at all...except for punk buster, but that can be solved by running the program "as administrator"

I'm willing to bet that Halo 2 will be an available option for both the XP and Vista. Keep in mind that Microsoft will monetarily benefit from having it for the XP, since Vista is relatively new software. It's not like people will buy a Vista for the sole purpose of Halo 2. But keep your eyes peeled, because if it's for both I wouldn't be surpised if Vista had extra features, or better graphics, or something.

Halo 2 is going to be a great game despite the OS it debuts on.

And Vista runs just fine for me despite the negetivety....but maybe that's because I bult my PC myself.... 8-D

Why would they do that?

Sooner or later, Microsoft is going to have to accept the fact that noone likes / has / or wants Vista. Even Dell, Hewlett-Packard, CompUSA, and Lenovo are retorting back to XP for most of their machines. Of course Vista is still an option...

I think Vista programs are backwards compatiable with xp
