Well, if you have enough ram the 256mb 7300gs is a good low end card. With enough ram in your pc it can cache another 256mb to the video ram. If you dont want to spend alot of money look at the 7600's. you can even get 7900's under 200.00 these days. Just depends on what youre looking for and how high you want your settings.

I got lucky on my graphics card. It was a Sunday paper add, and it had a GeForce 7600 GS and it's 512 MB for only 130 dollars! Regular 200! So, maybe use the paper. And like CHERUB2G suggested, get at least a 256 MB

The amount of memory on a card isn't everything.

I don't know who has this type of money but if you have 600 spare dollars get a nVidea GeForce 8800 GTX. Its like the most powerful graphic card on the market.
