Has anyone else had this problem?
If so how did you fix it?
Look on the back of your "BLADES OF GLORY" copy and see if you see the scratches? To see the scratches turn the DVD while looking at the back of it. The scratches is close to the outter edge.

I burn DVD's all the time. I found a way to record the movie using DVDCLONE2. DVD Shrink,DVDFab,DVDXCOPY PLATINUM,DVD1CLICK none of these worked. Using DVDCLONE2 the only thing you have to do is uncheck 2 sections and the movie will record with no problems.

If your talking to me? I got a HP 1040d that records DVD+R AND DVD-R. The equipment is not the problem they put some new stuff on the disc to try and keep people from burning it. But I figured it out and I burned two good copies.
