Adventure fans can look forward to Arcanum, an upcoming RPG set in the steampunk world, an alternate reality version of the Industrial Revolution era where magic and technology come together.

Adventure fans can look forward to Arcanum, an upcoming RPG set in the steampunk world, an alternate reality version of the Industrial Revolution era where magic and technology come together. Developed by the creators of Fallout and Fallout 2, arguably two of the best RPGs ever to grace the PC, Arcanum will whisk you to a fantasy world where Humans, Orcs, Elves, and Dwarves walk the streets in waistcoats and top hats. Players will be able to develop their characters with 16 primary skills, including gambling, healing, and lock picking, and will have 80 spells at their disposal in 16 schools of magic, from necromancy to mentalism. RPG fans will definitely want to keep an eye on Arcanum when it conjures its way into stores in February 2001.
