New York City

How much New York means to me;
It is a home away from home, a great place to be. New York is one of the largest cities in the world. Despite it's rough past, New York is one of the safest cities in the U.S. as well as the cleanest. Gone are the days of crimes and littering. Now it is a new age of tourism and attractions. We may not have the warm tropical weather of Florida or the great endless expansion of green trees of Las Vegas, but we do have diverse culture. New York is a great place to visit at any time of the year as there is always something going on as well as different events occurring. For example;

During the Spring, visit the botanical gardens to see all the beautiful flowers and plants in bloom. Or you can visit the Bronx Zoo to look at all kinds of cool and exotic animals.

In the Summer, go to the beaches in Long Island and hang-ten! You can sit back enjoy the sun and surf the refreshing Atlantic Ocean. Or you can visit Shea stadium and watch the world famous baseball team the Mets in action!

Autumn is a perfect place to go to Nassau county and look at all the farms where they grow pumpkins and corn. Or you can go to the Brooklyn museum to see art from around the world!

On Winter we often get snow, you can spend some of that time outdoors ice skating in Rockefeller center. You can also spend Christmas time at Radio City music hall watching our famous Broadway plays which also include the "Rockettes" in them.

This is how much New York means to me, it means a lot more than anything as it is my home. Anybody visiting New York would wish they would stay here because it's so wonderful! If those of you wish to live here, then the nice suburban life in Queens is right for you.

The Brooklyn bridge is one of the many attractions of New York and it is also one of the oldest bridges.

Radio City is a fantastic place to see all the spectacular plays and Broadway shows. Come to this place on Christmas to see the holiday specials.

Central Park is a place to see some natural wildlife. Along with some golf courses and picnic areas, this is a refreshing change from the city life. All the ducks especially like to hang around here in the lakes.

The tall skyscrapers shining at night in New York are just one of the wondrous things in this city. The people, community, technology, attractions, this city has all the gifts of a modern marvel.
