Sno Cross Championship Racing

If you're tired of cars, motorcycles, boats, jet skies, and wheelbarrows, you're bound to like racing snow mobiles!

The latest vehicle to enter the videogame racing realm? The snow mobile! If you're tired of cars, motorcycles, boats, jet skies, and wheelbarrows, you're bound to like racing snow mobiles! In all honesty, Sno Cross is a really fun game. Racing on realistic Yamaha 500-700cc sleds on courses in Japan, Colorado, Sweden, and Russia is a blast. The sleds perform like real snowmobiles; loose at times and on rails during others. Track designs are entertaining and challenging with multiple routes to choose from and banked turns to help you keep your speed. Certain tracks are a bit redundant with a few too many identical turns and jumps, but for the most part, they're a lot of fun. There's a minor collision problem when your sled runs into a barrier, sometimes you can slowly turn out of it, but sometimes you're stuck there for the rest of the race. If you like racing, being warm and dry, and snow mobiling, this is the game for you.

Graphics: 4.0
The tracks look good and have cool details such as dirty snow on ripped-up turns. The snow mobiles look great from every angle. Sound: 4.0
The sleds sound realistic, but the music is nothing special.

Control: 4.5
Real snowmobiles are all over the place control-wise, sometimes they have great traction, sometimes they're like pigs on ice, and that's how they are in Sno Cross. Great realism.

Fun Factor: 4.0
A fun racing game that becomes more enjoyable as your skills improve, but still, it's worth renting first to see if you'll want to play it for an extended period of time.
