Razor Freestyle Scooter

You can't walk two city blocks without seeing a little girl, a 20 year old guy, or a 45 year old man pushing along on a little metallic scooter. It was only a matter of time before they appeared on the PlayStation.

You can't walk two city blocks without seeing a little girl, a 20 year old guy, or a 45 year old man pushing along on a little metallic scooter. It was only a matter of time before they appeared on the PlayStation.

If you thought those little metallic scooters were for transportation only, think again. It turns out you can do amazing stunts on them, just look at Razor Freestyle Scooter, it'll show you that just about anything you can do on a bike or skateboard, can be done on a Razor. The level designs resemble those in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater with ramps everywhere and rails mysteriously floating in the sky for grinding. Tricks range from BMX-influenced tail-whips to skateboarding-influenced hand-plants, and even though it's silly, some of them look pretty cool. This is a great game for Razor enthusiasts that like simple (very simple) gameplay.

Graphics: Smooth colorful levels and clean character designs help Razor Freestyle Scooter maintain the sleek Razor aesthetic.

Sound: The soundtrack features light punk songs that get a little old but the scooter sounds are dead on.

Control: The controls are similar to THPS, triangle is grind, X is jump, and they're very easy to learn and pretty responsive.

Fun Factor: This is a great game for the 8 and up crowd. The game opens with some kids being scooped up by a robot and the message "A crazed robot has taken your friends, can you complete his challenge to save them?" Yes you can.
