Ms. Pac Man has gone 3D, combining the dot munching and ghost eating action from the classic arcade game and wrapping it in a 3D package.

Ms. Pac Man Maze Madness is technically a 3D game, but your movement is restricted to the narrow pathways of the mazes she encounters. The game has you munching dots, fruit, collecting keys to unlock the gates and move to the next area, and chomping power pills so you can eat baddies as you try to figure out how to make it past certain obstacles in your path. The multiplayer games are much better than the main Quest game. Up to four AI or human controlled Pacs can play bomb tag, dot mania, and ghost tag.
Unfortunately, none of the games in Ms. Pac Man Maze Madness really exploit the power of the Dreamcast. The level design and graphics overall aren't very impressive, and the sound backing the game seems like an afterthought.
Ms. Pac Man Maze Madness isn't a very strong Pac game, but it does have its moments. If you're hungry for some ghosts, it might be worth a trip around the maze.
Graphics: The game has some occasional eye candy, but it doesn't push the DC very hard.
Sound: Decent, but unmemorable sound and music keep pace with the graphics.
Control: Ms. Pac Man sometimes gets a mind of her own when you tell her where to go, but the simple controls keep gameplay chomping along.
Fun Factor: It's not as good as Pac Man World, but Ms. Pac Man Maze Madness is good for a lark. The fun multiplayer and original arcade game save this title.
