Rogue Ops

Is there such a thing as sexy stealth? Rogue Ops thinks there is.

If Splinter Cell?s Sam Fisher had a sister, Rogue Ops? Nikki Conners would be her. Although she has a bit more brains than brawn, she still has just the right curves for some solid stealth action.

Time To Save the World?Again
Nikki Conners can beat the stuffing out of you. She?s an ex-Green Beret who?s just been recruited by a super-secret American government agency to take on the deadly Omega 19 terrorist organization. In eight levels, you must guide Nikki through missions that require stealth, well-placed head shots, and plenty of mind-teasing challenges in order to save the world from imminent danger.

Sam Fisher?s blood runs deep in Nikki Conners. Her moves look and feel copied?from her stealthy movement to how she tackles obstacles. But Nikki is also an independent woman. She possesses deadly attacks that can be performed with ease. She can even pick the pockets of unsuspecting hoodlums without killing them. But Nikki lacks a close-up front attack using her bare hands?sadly, she can use only her limited arsenal of weapons for her offense.

Vogue Ops
Nikki?s world of covert operations looks good, but it?s not outstanding. The special agent animates smoothly, and she definitely has the sexy-heroine appeal going for her. Levels, though, aren?t as detailed as they should be on the Xbox, and the rest of the game?s cast doesn?t seem as visually impressive as Nikki. However, conversations and believable enemy chatter enhance this clandestine mission.

If you enjoyed the exploits found in Splinter Cell, try out Rogue Ops. It?s not as intense or compelling, but the game still has enough action to satisfy even the most hardcore stealth hero.
