Ninjas with guns?! Its not about stealth in this latest no-brains shooter by Namco.
If incredibly sore hands and a serious feeling of relief after busting caps in countless Shogun hoodlums constitutes a solid console light-gun shooter, then Ninja Assault screams for your attention. As Namcos latest shooter to use the fabulously accurate GunCon 2, Ninja Assault is nothing but a no-nonsense point-and-shoot action game. Fortunately, Assault has much more gameplay features than its arcade counterpart, so you wont get bored easily. Besides the complete arcade game, you can try your shooting skills in a host of training levels and mission-based games. But unlike in Namcos celebrated Time Crisis shooters, there isnt a ducking moveits just nonstop blasting at scary creatures, which can get tiring not only for your eyes, but for your fingers as well. In fact, after a few rounds of monster annihilation, your entire hand will cramp up.
But before you get carpal tunnel syndrome and turn off the game, youll enjoy Ninja Assaults creatively designed spooky denizens and eye-catching indoor and outdoor environments. Shrieks, yells, and tons of gun effects make up Assaults sound package.
At the very least, Ninja Assault makes a great rental for a one-night shooting spree. After that, its up to your fingers if you should continue playing Ninja Assault.
