God I want this game. Pitch Black is one of my favorite movies, and Chronicles of Riddick was decent.

When I played the demo, I thought that the gameplay was just too generic and not very interesting but now that I know that Butcher's Bay comes with it, I might even consider getting it since I never played the first game.

i agree with this score but I really liked athena and the thing that pulls the score down for this game to me is the half-ass multiplayer....which they should have left out (even though people would have been crying foul since that was a fault of the original game). in any case butcher bay remake is fantastic. escaping the triple max part was such a fond memory from the first game and revisiting it in hd and with improved graphics was awesome. dark athena i thought was great too. there are some outdoor areas that mix up the environments a little and theres a lot of sneaking around in the dark--something the riddick games do well. i wish they left out the multiplayer achievements and cleaned up some minor glitches throughout the game (like bodys or ejected ammo stuck in the air--also one time i fell through the level at a checkpoint) but otherwise this was a great purchase.

I loved the first game, it was my favorite game for the original Xbox. I've been waiting for them to make the original BC but I've heard recently that it isn't going to happen. I'll probably get it so I won't have to hook up my old Xbox every time I feel like playing it, but I'm gonna wait until it drops in price a little.

The original was stunning when I ran it on my high-end PC back in 2005 -- like, better than Doom 3 and games like that. Gorgeous looking game...

I too want this game, but I always hated Pitch Black and liked Chronicles better.
The game however, was pretty stellar although I never managed to complete it. Guess I get a second chance.

This game is awesome, for me it was an obvious buy, seeing that i loved it on the original xbox and it STILL feels fresh after all this years.... great gameplay is timeless
