Review: LittleBigPlanet (PS3)

Good for people who like to create and such. For me, it wasn't that great since I look for instant gratification---i.e. FPS where you can just shoot and not have to worry about creating stuff. I got bored after an hour during the beta. Graphically it looks great, but then again, it's not really pushing the boundaries of realism, but gameplay, it's alright.

I take it that you didn't play the Beta, there is instant grat if you play the preexisting levels.

I'm not sure what Feryl is talking about. Do you really need to shoot someone in order to get gratification?

I took part in the beta and this game is revolutionary. There's no denying it whether its your kind of game or not.

This is the first exclusive PS3 game (aside from MGS4) where I said "A PS3 is looking pretty damn good" I am dying to try out LBP. I love these types of game. Every since I heard about this game I wanted to play it and now that it's only a week away I want to play it even more. Great review GP. Glad to hear it is worth all the buzz it had surrounding it.

This game has all of the things that will finally get the PS3 some serious street cred on the 360. MGS4 already did that, but with the fantastic features, infinite creation and design possibilities, and addicting gameplay, LBP will be a serious contender for GOTY against Gears 2 and Fallout 3.

Agreed ShadowSlayer. It's good to see PS3 is having a solid year, and I also think GOTY will be between those three games. Definitely a great year for games.

Oh yeah...As a proud PS3 fanboy, I must do the following: PS3 RULES!!!!

Are you serious? Seriously, are you for real? Well, I guess it really isn't for everyone. I will say, I enjoyed playing the game with friends than by myself. Did anyone else play "Rocket Ship"? OMFG! I was in tears!

This game should get a nomination for game of the year simply for being the most original game ever made. I haven't heard of a game that gives the player this much fun at your fingertips. The idea of a game like this deserves top honors. I'll be buying this game a.s.a.p.,and brand new because Sony deserves their money for this one.

I can't believe how feminized this country has gotten, it's just unbelievable. This would have been a girls game in the 60's and 70's. guys are not supposed to play with dolls.

This game will sell like crap for sure and more people like shooting "stuff" in games than you might think. . . I give this game a 3 out of 5, and it's a kids game, I don't care how many metro-sexual gamer says otherwise. I'll take Socom or Killzone as well as R2, but you can give this game to the kids.
