Excalibur 2555 A.D.

The puzzle elements are bland and cliched, while the battle system is complete trash: You stand toe-to-toe with your foes (which range from giant spiders to elves), trading blows at a ridiculously slow pace, while awful techno tunes try to keep your blood pumping. It fails miserably, and so does Excaibur 2555 A.D.}

In Excalibur 2555 A.D., you play as Merlin's assistant who's sent to the future to recover the fabled sword from evil raiders. The game has a novel idea, but its execution is an expansive catalog of video-game blunders-an experience one spends the rest of the day trying to forget. The visuals aren't too bad, but once you pick up the controller, they don't help you get over the fact that this is a really awful game.

I hereby claim this as my own personal secret spot on this site.

I'm hiding away from people here now. I've got this douchbag cyber-stalker on this site, so I'm going to be hiding away on this review of a game that no one remembers, and that was apparently poo.

Anyways, I'm gonna start my own personal hidden gaming journal here.

Anyways. I only played some I-Ninja today on the PS2. I'd never played it before, and it's a fun little platformer. It's already had a few frustrating parts, but so far I'm really liking it. It's definitely an underrated gem, and I would gladly suggest it to anyone who may accidentally stumble onto this little journal of mine.

Been playing some Mace the Dark Age on the N64 today. It's not as good as I remember it, but still decent. It was more fun when I hadn't played more fighters from the 64/32-bit era.

It's better than some, but a lot worse than others. It's decent. If you've got an N64 still you should try it out.

Been playing some Turok 1. Can you believe that I've never played it all the way through without cheating. I guess it's because i always miss a few of those stupid keys they want you to find, and don't feel like replaying the levels to hunt for them, so I just cheat.

I got Extreme G in the mail today. It's not bad at all. Kinda challenging, but not bad.

Wipeout 64 is better, but Extreme G is a fun alternative.

I got Turok Rage Wars in today. pretty fun game in the bot matches.

Other than that I've been playing the hell out of Bioshock.

More Bioshock, and I just uploaded my latest vid My Gaming Week Version 4 (Week of 09-13-09)

I wonder if anyone's ever going to find me here. I hope not.

I've played a little bit of everything lately. People over PSN keep bugging me, so I made a secondary private account so people on youtube won't bug me to join their clans, or play with them.

Not that I don't want to play those games, I just don't want to feel obligated to have to play once certain game at a certain time of day. I like to change up what I play as much as possible, and I never know what I'll be in the mood for, so I don't like feeling obligated to play a certain game.

Didn't play much this today. Just enough to make my vid of the games I played this week.

I'm waiting for the PS2 to PS3 memory card USB thingy to come in so I can finally clear more space on my PS2 memory cards. Some of the online games alone take up 3 MB out of the PS2's 8 MB memory cards.
