Anyone familiar with the comic knows that Superman is basically invincible, so instead of giving him a health meter, the city gets one instead. So, as an alternative of constantly worrying about his own well being, he'll have to keep an eye on the state of safety in the city. We got to see the big S battling the giant Kryptonite-built robot Metallo who is causing a considerable amount of ruckus in the city.
As Superman battled the metallic dynamo, his stamina meter began to deplete, and a weak Superman isn't very helpful Superman at all. So, because he gets his energy from the Sun, the player must fly up higher in the air to gain back that trusty stamina. Unfortunately, any and every ability uses up a certain amount of the stamina meter, so there will be a consistent amount of overhead road trips -- the perils of a solar-powered Superman.
The places where we saw the biggest frame rate hitches were during the Metallo fight and with the zoom maneuver, especially when rounding corners. I mean, the game engine really started to chug when there was any considerable amount of onscreen action. But, it's still early, so we can't really knock Tiburon for any minor technical holdups. Well...not too much, at least.
We know the game will take place in an open, explorable world, but aside from that, nothing about the actual mission structure is known. And until we get any new info, we're still in the dark on this one.
