At last, years of painstaking scientific research have finally uncovered the terrifying truth in their free time, monsters enjoy hopping around on pogo sticks atop mile-high floating stone platforms.

Ever wonder what monsters do when theyre not duking it out in tournaments or bandying about on their favorite ranch? Turns out its exactly the same thing most of us humans do in our free time head up to the mile-high stone platforms hovering above the surface of the Earth and hop around on pogo sticks. In Monster Rancher Hop-A-Bout for the PlayStation, you take control of one of your favorite Monster Rancher monsters, including Hare, Golem, Suezo, and Mocchi, as you hop around on pogo sticks (or in Suezos case, on his tail) in a race against time to reach the finish line. Once you start to hop, you just cant stop, so youll have to have perfect timing and finely-honed landing skills in order to avoid all obstacles placed in your path, ranging from gaping holes in the ground to tiles that send your character hurling in a random direction. If you get bored with the pre-made levels, Monster Ranger Hop-A-Bout comes with a built in playing field editor, so you can design your own hopping grounds and save them to your memory card. Monstrous high-altitude hijinks shall ensue when Monster Rancher Hop-A-Bout ships at the end of November.
