For those of you who have a PlayStation 2 by now, here are new screens of one of the PS2's most anticipated games: The Bouncer! You have to take justice into your own hands to rescue a girl who was kidnapped from your bar by a Special Forces strike team. The story may sound hackneyed, but the game's look and design are 100% Squaresoft, down to character design by Tetsuya Nomura, best known for designing the characters for FFVII, FFVIII, and Parasite Eve. There's even a bit of RPG spice in the game. As you play, you'll build up your fighter's abilities and save them to a memory card. Then you can take your pumped-up brawler to a friend's house and go head-to-head in a 3D fighting side-game. Expect a real beatdown, Square-style, when the Bouncer opens doors in January.
