Here are some new screenshots of Star Trek Bridge Commander - Activision's upcoming space simulation that allows you to take on the role of a Starfleet captain. These new screens show off some of the ships that you'll be taking on, including a Romulan Warbird and a Ferengi Marauder. From your seat on the 3D bridge, you'll be able to issue orders to your crewmates or take control of the various stations, including tactical, science, and engineering. Old school Trek fans will be pleased to learn that when your ship is under fire, the bridge will shake, sparks will fly, and the crew will be thrown from their chairs. Star Trek Bridge Commander is set to launch in early 2001.
