How to Rock Guitar Hero II

Title: You Really Got Me
Original Artist: Van Halen
Expert Breakdown: Being the fist song on the game, this one is one of the easier tracks. The expert level of You Really Got Me is not insanely difficult, but it will put your index, ring, and pinky fingers to the test. And, this song ends with the first three-note chord in Guitar Hero. Wicked.
Bass Part: Co-op songs on the demo have either bass or rhythm guitar parts for the second player, while player one wails on lead. This bass part gets the player accustomed to switching gears and laying more of a rhythmic foundation. There is a bit of walking on the bass, which may take some people a little getting used to. As a bass player myself, I really dig it.

Title: Strutter
Original Artist: Kiss
Expert Breakdown: Strutter is certainly more difficult than You Really Got Me, as there are plenty of sixteenth note triplets and lots of three-note chords. At the chorus, you'll have to shift from a 1-3-4 finger three-note chord to a 1-2-4 three-note chord down a fret. Hard, but easier with practice.
Rhythm Guitar Part: As the first appearance of the rhythm guitar part, you quickly get the feel of accompanying the lead...and oh how your fingers will burst with pain! Basically you're in for a crapload of strumming. We suggest alternate picking.

Title: War Pigs
Original Artist: Black Sabbath
Expert Breakdown: Now things are really heating up! Sabbath's 8-plus minute epic is not quite as trying as G N' R's never-ending November Rain would be, but it may feel just as long. War Pigs is tough; it has lots of 1 to 5 stretching and some ridiculously fast soloing.

Title: YYZ
Original Artist: Rush
Expert Breakdown: Very hard. Though Rush is no doubt known the classic drumming of Neil Peart, the guitar parts are no walk in the park. Think speed. You'll need plenty of Star Power if you want to get through the solos, especially the last one.
