From the depths of Sony's madness comes Twisted Metal: Black. In this fifth Twisted Metal game, members of the original SingleTrac TM and TM2 production team have come together again to bring you a darker, even more twisted version of the car combat classic. Calypso is back, and this time he's gathered yet another bunch of lunatics together to compete for the ultimate prize: one wish granted, no questions asked. Of course, this competition comes down to blasting the hell out of whatever enemies happen to drive by, and the PS2 should allow you to commit combat carnage at a level of detail and realism unseen on previous consoles. With crazier cars, faster action, and a much more dark and disturbing feel (Sony cites Seven and Jacob's Ladder as style influences), Twisted Metal: Black just might be the game you TM junkies have been waiting for.
