NBA 2K1 looks like it's going to have all the great elements of last year's version along with a bag of enhancements. In addition to an updated roster and improved defensive game, Visual Concepts has thrown in four outdoor courts so you can take your game to the streets. They've also added four commemorative teams, collecting players from the '50s through the '80s, and each player will wear the same jersey he wore when playing. New dunks, the ability to pass out of a lay-up, free-throw practice, and online multiplayer gaming via the SegaNet games network should help NBA 2K1 slam dunk on its competition this year.
