Imagine giant mech robots fighting alongside the troops in World War II. Now take a look at Konami's Ring of Red for the PS2. You're not dreaming! This turn-based strategy game puts you in the firing line at the closing of World War II. In Ring of Red's alternate history, primitive mechs using riveted steel and 1950's technology battle alongside the tanks and infantry of the Axis and Allied forces. Even though it's a turn-based game, all of the graphics are rendered in sharp 3D, giving the game a movie-like feel. There's no word from Konami when Ring of Red will makes its debut in the U.S., but Konami reps from Japan have assured us that it will come out sometime in the near future.
