Midway's over the top arcade football game is donning the pads for another season on the Dreamcast. This year, the game offers updated team rosters (of course), and a couple of extras that will keep Blitz veterans happy. The gameplay has remained essentially the same with WWF style tackles, tons of taunts, and frantic action with some completely zany occurrences. It's not uncommon to have two or more fumbles on the same play! In addition to Arcade, Tournament, and Season modes, there's a Party Games mode that lets you play in special situations like Goal Line Stand, and 1st and Goal Frenzy (where you have to score a TD in 4 downs or less). Of course, the game still has all those zany Midway codes that do everything from give the players big heads to change the field to hard concrete. Get ready for Midway's football blitz later in September.
