Perhaps the best playable game at this year's Spaceworld, this hyper anime-inspired shooter should be tops on Nintendo's list of games to bring out Stateside.
If you've seen the screens from the First Look, you're sure to be on the edge of your seat waiting to see if Sin and Punishment can possibly be as cool as it seems. The answer is a big fat YES! In this fast action shooter, you control your character with the D-pad and use the analog stick to aim your cursor. You can side roll by tapping twice left or right on the D-pad and you jump with the left shoulder button (tap that twice for a double jump). In the first level, your movement is restricted: all the action scrolls by on rails, and it's deceptively simple, but that's just to get you adjusted to the game controls. Starting with the second level, you'll have more and more challenges, and you'll have to master the art of moving your character skillfully while shooting down horde after horde of enemies. Sin and Punishment in motion is a sight to behold. All the explosion effects look great, and there always seems to be a ton of objects whirling around the screen. The voices are all in English, so it should be very easy to port this sucker to the States.
